Set 3 Mini Porcelain Bowls .2

Beautiful set of 3 mini dishes created from fine porcelain clay.Porcelain clay is one of the highest firing clays at over 2300F giving the appearance of dense crystallised slightly rough stone when fired. These beautiful little bowls remind me of pools of water by the sea or deep mysterious Cenotes in the mysterious jungles of the Yucatan peninsula on the Gulf of Mexico!

I created these mini dishes from porcelain clay, hand-built, dried for several days then fired it for over 10 hours in the kiln. Once fired, I glazed the bowl with sea glass, recycled glass and non-toxic glazes, then fired it again for several hours. The outside is unglazed to show the beautiful crystallised appearance of the untouched raw porcelain.

The largest bowl measures 3" in diameter by 1" at its highest point ( 8 cm x 2 cm), the smallest 1-3/8" diameter by 1/2" high (35mm x 12mm),Use them as cute unique ring dishes, jewellery, candy dishes or whatever you may desire!
